All about me!
My name is Melissa Kate McMurtrie and I have a BFA in Painting and Drawing from the University of TN at Chattanooga. I also studied InDesign and Illustrator at NYU SCPS.

As a hands on artist I like to make linoleum prints which generally manifest themselves in the form of a notecard, but lately I've been branching out into larger format prints as well. I also have a new found love of screenprinting which is taking me into exciting and colorful directions! I love making things that are useful, but I can find a reason for almost anything to be useful...
Because the environment is important to all of us I use only eco-friendly papers and envelopes. Every paper I use is manufactured in a hydroelectric mill and no chlorine bleach is ever used on any color! I also use 100% recycled envelopes and am now offering a range of 100% recycled cards! - If you are interested in placing a special order for any style of card on recycled stock please contact me for timeframe and pricing.
